In short

At the end of 2024, the car was purchased in the USA, where it came to auction as a theft-recovery vehicle.

After the car arrived, we carried out a full inspection and eliminated all issues found.

Main work performed

    Electronics and coding:

  • Installed the missing telematics modules and GPS antennas

  • Restored the vehicle’s full integration level

  • All control units updated to the latest software version and adapted to European market requirements

  • Ordered and programmed a new original BMW key and removed the lost key from the control units


    Maintenance and mechanics:

  • All fluids and filters replaced

  • Full service carried out, including:

    • engine, transfer case and both differential oils

    • brake fluid

    • spark plugs

    • wiper blades

  • Fuel tank ventilation valve replaced

  • Driver's seat massage module replaced


    • Body and underside:

    • Underside steam-cleaned on a lift and coated with wax

    • Comprehensive anti-corrosion treatment performed; all body cavities treated via factory access openings

    • All protective panels and heat shields removed before treatment

    • Rear spoiler on the trunk lid repainted

    Optics and visuals:

    • LCI rear taillights retrofitted

    • New original rear taillights installed
